At Channing Church Religious Education is a creative and positive experience. Children and youth participate in Sunday classes, community service projects, parties, pageants, and other community building activities. On Sunday children either attend the first few minutes of church with their families or participate in a child centered service in the Chapel. RE is designed to help young people mature as thoughtful individuals who respect themselves and others. Children are introduced to world religions, literature, history, ethics and values. They are inspired to appreciate nature, earth and the mysteries of life. We welcome new children to our RE program at anytime.
